Dimitrius “Dee Bomb” Stephens was born 1988 in Minneapolis, MN. He grew up in a household where it was easy for him to become a fan of hip hop. Influenced by artists such as LL Cool J, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, as well as others, Dee wanted to give rap a try. At age 8, Dee soon began rapping in the hallways of school and soon began making songs by 14 giving them away through many neighborhoods. After graduating in 2006 and eager to make a name for himself in the city, Dee (Now known as Dee Bomb) dropped his self-release mixtape, “Bomb Threat” which quickly began a buzz for him and was nominated TC Next Up (Best New Artist) at the 2nd Annual Twin Cities Hip Hop Awards.

Dee Bomb soon started Bangin Noize Entertainment after “Bomb Threat” to have full control of his career. After doing shows all summer of 2008, he released his second mixtape, “Nothing to Lose” and went on to move over 1,500 copies and expand his buzz outside Minnesota. After changing his style, Dee Bomb soon began working on new music. By 2009, Dee Bomb release his third and digital only mixtape, “Everything to Gain; Tha mixtape hosted by MurdaSB of MMDP Global”. The Mixtape ignited his internet buzz and went on to move over 2,000 copies.

For more exposure, Dee Bomb launched a blog called, “Dee Bomb’s World” to interact with his fans. Dee Bomb soon released his highly acclaimed mixtape, “The Progress Mixtape” which soon became an internet favorite and moved nearly 5,000 copies. The mixtape also expand his buzz even further reaching out to Germany, California, and Paris.

After four mixtapes and a few singles totaling over 10,000 copies and over 75,000 plays of his music online, Dee Bomb began working on his debut album, “The Inauguration” which will be set for summer 2012. With determination like this, Dee Bomb is ready for the world.
